Jim and Beth Webber purchased Percy Campground in February 2023 and changed the name to Mountain Valley Campground. In just three short months it was time to open for their first season but they were ready for the challenge because of their entrepreneurial backgrounds.
Jim’s parents owned and ran the 1st Crown Point Campground in Strafford NH for 12 years. This is where Jim gained management experience as well as assisting in the rebuilding of a campground that needed an infrastructure upgrade. Jim has been the owner of his own trucking company since 1998. He has experience in construction work and knows how to run heavy equipment. Jim is taking the lead on enlarging the campground and making improvements picking up where the former owners left off.
Beth has been a hair stylist for 24 years and has been running her own salon since 2020. Beth is running the day-to-day operation of the campground with the help from her mother-in-law Donna.
Jim and Beth look forward to making your stay at Mountain Valley Campground a memorable family vacation and they welcome your feedback.
The town of Stark is named after General John Stark who was a Revolutionary War hero who played a pivotal role in the founding of our country. He also wrote the words that later became the state motto for New Hampshire.
